Typhoon? No Problem!
In June 2003, Typhoon Ibudo was heading to the port of Shenzhen, China. Some vessels were not calling Shenzhen and vessels that had already arrived were leaving early. Vessels in Shenzhen were loading light and were leaving cargo behind. One of our import logistics clients needed to have 16 containers loaded to a vessel to arrive on time. With a few last minute phone calls we were able to get all the containers to the port early and loaded on the vessel. The vessel arrived in Seattle, Washington two days early and was delivered to our client on time. If we would have missed the vessel our client would have lost their largest contract, because the products were time sensitive. So when someone says "Typhoon" We at Borderless say "No Problem!"
